Ms. Zain Iyad Al Emam

Representative of the Islamic Development Bank/Jeddah.

Zain Al Emam is a seasoned Saudi Banker with over 17 years of experience in the banking industry beginning with the Saudi National Commercial Bank (Now SNB), through Saudi Fransi Banque and ending in the Islamic Development Bank (IsDB) with a focus on investment banking. Over the years, Zain has represented the IsDB in many local, regional and Intl assignments such as BoD and Board Committees of investee companiesG20-GPFI Working group among other assignments. Today, Zain sits on the board of GIB Capital as an independent director and Chairs the Audit Committee of GIBC. Additionally, Zain sits on the Audit Committee of Bupa Arabia and Saudi Coffee Company, a PIF company.

Zain holds a bachelor’s degree in Economics, Money & Financial institute from King Abdul Aziz University, Jeddah; and an MSC, Finance and Management from Exeter University, UK.
